The Porcupine Puffer, also known as the Porcupinefish or Porcupine Pufferfish, is a unique and fascinating saltwater fish for experienced aquarists. A minimum 180 gallon or larger, fish-only aquarium is needed to provide ample swimming space, as well as clean water, to ensure the Porcupine Puffer stays healthy. They also have teeth that need to be worn down, so hard shelled food like clams and snails must be provided periodically.
